Dr. Amanda Murphy
Dr. Amanda Murphy is the owner and lead dentist at Winnetka Dental Group. She brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to every visit and takes time to truly understand the person behind the smile. A graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, she values clear communication, precision, and care that supports long-term oral health.
Dr. Murphy enjoys all aspects of dentistry, from caring for children at their earliest visits to guiding patients through more complex restorative treatment. She believes dentistry works best when patients feel heard, informed, and confident in the decisions they make.

Dr. Michael Czarkowski,
with gratitude
Dr. Michael Czarkowski served the Winnetka community with dedication, skill, and integrity. His commitment to excellence and lifelong learning shaped the foundation of this practice and influenced generations of patients and professionals alike.
Now retired, Dr. Czarkowski leaves behind a legacy built on trust, innovation, and care. We are deeply grateful for his service to Winnetka and the North Shore, and for the standard of care he established that continues to guide our practice today.
Dr. Zohra Metalwala
Dr. Zohra Metalwala is a general dentist with over 13 years of experience. She earned her dental degree at Marquette University School of Dentistry. She genuinely enjoys getting to know her patients and believes great dentistry starts with listening — understanding your concerns and making you feel comfortable before anything else.
She has a special interest in restorative dentistry and loves helping patients get their teeth healthy, functional, and looking their best. She takes the time to explain treatment options in a way that makes sense, with the goal of helping you keep your teeth for life.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Metalwala enjoys spending time with family and friends, moments in nature, and experimenting in the kitchen. Her goal is to make every visit feel comfortable, positive, and maybe even a little fun — and, of course, to turn you into a lifelong flosser!
Dr. Aditi Patel
Dr. Aditi Patel is an associate dentist at Winnetka Dental Group with a focus on comprehensive restorative and implant dentistry — and a genuine warm spot for treating kids. She shares the practice’s belief that good dentistry starts with listening: understanding what matters to you before recommending what comes next.
Dr. Patel earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 2018, following a B.S. in Biology from Loyola University Chicago, and completed an implant residency program in 2020. Practicing since 2018, she brings experience across restorative and cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and two years of dedicated pediatric dentistry. She is licensed in Illinois.

Nedzma Tatarevic: Practice Manager
Nedzma (pronounced “Ne-J-Ma”) runs the front of the house: scheduling, billing, insurance benefits, and questions about our membership plans. If something about your visit needs untangling, she’s the person who untangles it.
Her promise, in her own words: “I’ll listen, communicate openly and honestly, and help you understand your options so you feel respected, valued, and confident in your care.” Away from the desk, she paints, gardens, and dreams of seeing Mongolia’s Altai Mountains.
Yuliia — Dental Hygienist
For many patients, Yuliia is the familiar face they see most often. She handles cleanings and preventive care gently, thoroughly, and without rushing — explaining what she sees as she goes, so you always know where your oral health stands.
It’s where small problems get caught early and trust is built — and it shows in how comfortable patients feel in her chair.
Sonia — Dental Assistant
Sonia works chairside with the doctors — preparing each room, keeping procedures running smoothly, and making sure you’re comfortable at every step.
She’s also the voice behind our monthly patient emails, so if a helpful reminder or a bit of news from the practice lands in your inbox, that’s Sonia.
Gosia — Dental Assistant
Gosia assists chairside as well, anticipating what each procedure needs next and keeping every room calm, organized, and ready.
It’s the small things — a check-in at the right moment, a clear explanation of what’s coming next, a steady presence through longer appointments — that make visits with her feel easy.
